Going to Scarlet could be a trap! Riley should take Shadow with her.

Well.... logically from Riley's perspective, what else can we do? It's a bummer Rebecca didn't leave a forwarding addresss... she would be helpful

I join everyone's paranoia, just because there are things left unsaid (and it's the general attitude, and you can never have enough paranoia). For starters, technology is compromised. The phone is technology. So is her computer, and I think I just said Riley is an Unreliable Narrator at this point. г_г
In all fairness, though, Scarlet told her to come to their shop, not to some dark alley, alone and unarmed.

Maybe Riley should start carrying a pentacle around with her. Old protective charm might affect ghosts, demons too. Pentacles have a bad rep they didn't earn.

Riley said her stuff got dowsed in holy water, so I guess we can assume her gadgets are reasonably safe. I guess the same goes for the witches... But if anyone else calls, he's totally out for blood.

I think we may be being a tiny bit too paranoid here, guys, I think this situation is bad enough without us worrying that Scarlet has been, in some way, bugged.
Going a bit meta here but I'm fairly sure it would not be narratively fitting or helpful for Scarlet to be evil or being watched by something evil, for the same reason that the various fictional characters in my last ARG could not find us plotting about them on the forums - it would break people's ability to function.

Anyone think maybe getting Charles and Becca together so things can be resolved might be a good way to go? Things left undone can be like an anchor/tether and prevent one from letting go.

Here are my notes on the video and transcript (dialogue is text on screen unless otherwise indicated) Riley: Here we go… Hey Lexie! Lexie: Riley, to what do I owe the pleasure? Riley: It turns out Rebecca James - she’s the one who rented the toy shop building, her father WAS Charles St. Charles and now, he’s turned into a poltergeist. I was wondering if you knew a way to get a hold of them? Lexie: Aah, that makes sense. Well, Becca moved when she closed the store. She didn’t leave a forwarding number or address/ She was really sweet, but she wanted a fresh start. Riley: What else can you tell me about her? Lexie: Her dad was apparently crazy strict and conservative. She ran away from home when she was younger and began her life on her own. I guess after her daughter was born, her father changed his tune a bit but he died of a heart attack before they could resolve anything. Riley: How awful… Lexie: I don’t think Becca would be interested in helping you. Even if she was still around. Riley: Thanks anyway Lexie. Well… maybe this will be enough for Scarlet’s spell. All she needed was his identity anyway. Oh! I’ve got another call… Scarlet! I was just talking about you- Scarlet: Riley! I need you to come to the shop tomorrow… It’s about the spell. Riley: Sure, Scarlet! I guess we’ve got our objective tomorrow!

Anyone think maybe getting Charles and Becca together so things can be resolved might be a good way to go? Things left undone can be like an anchor/tether and prevent one from letting go. I'd think so, but the way Lexi talked seemed like maybe she's hinting that Becca is completely unreachable and we need to do things another way. If someone unearths evidence that helps us track Becca down I'm all for it, but I wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket.

Maybe connect with his granddaughter?

This has been relatively closed but now we've heard from multiple sources that pursuing st. Charles' family is both a bad idea and useless.
We need to confront the PG directly, using Scarlet's spell. We've got the first piece, now we're just waiting for the rest.
On that note, does anyone know how many pieces there are?

Spells are magic. So, there are few numbers that are particularly important. Five would be a good one for the pentacle, but I'm not sure if we'll get that many drops. So, perhaps 3 in reference to the trinity. 3 is also the number of sides on each face of the tetrahedron, and that's used to depict forcefields/shields/containment fairly often. But the relevance of that would depend on the purpose of the spell...
That said, we might get multiple "components" from a single event piece, so I find it a bit hard to predict on that.
<_< >_> What? 's fun to read about this stuff.
