I'm guessing we're all gonna get Case Three Audiofiles (asorry if I'm jumping the gun here, guys, but I wanted to make sure...) This is my recording from "Ben"/The Demon/Whatever the hell LINK HERE I have no idea what that bit at start is, but it cuts into One Day More from Les Miserables. (Something I ltierally just posted a song of today on twitter.) Gonna mess with the audio mess at the start, see if I can make it more audible. It sounds like someone dragging a Record LP around... will update with anything new. EDITED TO ADD the recording SLOWED DOWN. Reversing the file turns out nothing in particular, but slowing it down about 80% revealed this was the time. Does anybody recognixze that? it could just be from Les Mis (although it doesn't exactly ring of beleaguered France to me.) LINK HERE

And it's the part with cosette and marius, if anyone is not familiar with Les Mis. The two pulled apart lovers. The audio in the beginning sounds familar, I'm going to listen a few times

ADDED NOTE: The beginning of the part of the Les Mis song has a changed lyrics- (source, my own brain, because I've listened to Les Mis ten million times)
Actual song: "I did not live until today, how can I live when we are parted? Tomorrow you'll be worlds away, and yet with you my world has started " Ben version: "I cannot live until today, how can I live when we are parted? Tomorrow, you'll be worlds away, and yes with you my world has started"
Admin note: audio distortion, the lyrics are the same

As for your slowed down audio, It sounds familar, but I don't think it's Les Mis. It sounds ragtime....

Oop never mind, yay audio distortion
Ben and H DO appear to favor old fashioned love songs, so it would not be out of the question for it to be a familiar song from the 30's or 40's (or even 20's)
*tries to help from afar*

Oh look who JUST got an email to her old yahoo. That's what I get for trying to avoid spam. It says "can you hear me" and there is an audio will attach soon (screams silently in the distance) LINK HERE
Scarab made a slowed down version of the beginning: LINK HERE
